Another Crackles update and a vent
Karen Chuplis wrote in message ...
that is terribly sad. Can you talk to animal control about her? Sometimes they can put an injunction on someone. Poor Crackles. I'm glad it does not seem to phase him. There is just nothing more I can say. I'm glad he has you. This is a ditto post. Crackles has had a rough time, but he is a very lucky kitty, all the same. I wish I had some suggestion for how to deal with the stupid neighbor; that is a sad situation. We are sending purrs, but I wish we could do more. ------ Krista |

Well first up huge Purrs for Crackles, He's certainly going through the mill
isn't he? poor old baby, I hope your neighbour disappears for good very soon, she is one big menace, she must be a little bit light on brains, but someone should report her as it really can be classed as cruelty to animals, also to humans that care what happens to these poor blameless cats. Surely something can be done oficially perhaps you could enquire at a cat shelter or the police station? Good luck if you decide to wage war on this imbecile Jean.P. P. Cox wrote in message ... Crackles is still hanging in there. The tumor is getting bigger. His forehead is starting to bulge and its getting bigger lower on his cheek. He still is eating strong and breathing fine. He sometimes turns down treats cause I think it might hurt to chew the hard treats but other times he chomps them down heartily. The neighbor that disposed of crackles has dealt another blow to the neighbohood. She came back after 2 months of leaving her 14 cats to fend for themselves, denied ownership of the ones that were still hanging around being feed around the block. Ok we lived with that and continued to care for those but she came back and started to collect cats again. Cats that had kittens, she gave one of the kittens to the little girl across the street. Then she disappeared again, her husband got rid of the cats(don't think I want to know how). The parents of the little girl allowed her to have the kitten cause her dog was dying of breast cancer. So the little girl has bonded with Pistol (the kittens name), they finally get the money to pay for a checkup and spaying after paying for the dog's treatments. They take the now half grown kitten in and he tests positive for feline lukemia. Its so very sad. Now the entire neighborhood of indoor/outdoor cats may have contracted it from him(he was beginning to fight with other cats). Now I still have another stray outside and my mother has 2 cats outside and the neighbor beside me has one indoor/outdoor cat. Now I have to worry that these cats might have caught it, no money to test of course right now. This dang neighbor lady is spending money for me, my family and friends we don't have and then she runs off on another bender. I dread to see what she comes home with next time to drive us further into sadness. GGrrrrr, I am so mad....and sad too. p |
