Who's going to have the babies? The cat or the person who gave her to you?
The best thing you can do for her is to have her spayed if she isn't already. She'll live a longer, healthier life, and if you decide to let her outside you won't have to worry about her coming home pregnant. Meowmie Debby Who Is Known For Trying To Spay Every Animal She Sees ---------- Original Message: I am looking for a good name for my new cat. And she is one of those cat that have allot of colors. Orange, Black, and White. The colors are in patches all over hir. I got hir for free. Someone gave hir to me because is is about to have babys. Thanks and have a good day. |

... wrote in message ... When you said her colors, I immediately thought of Halloween. Is there a Halloween word that describes her, like pumpkin? My cat's name is Freddy because he was found in a grocery store by that name. I like names that fit a cat's look or personality or, in Fred's case, have a story behind them. pepsi I had a cat named Doc who was named after the little boy in The Shining. I was reading it when I got the cat. I needed a name to go along with that for the female I adopted at the same time, and she became Hickory, after the hickory nuts we had where I grew up. Hickory... Doc -- of course I always got asked where Dickory was! I would have *had* to get the third cat....my obsessive compulsive side would have made it happen :P -- Peace, Pen -- Pawbreakers - The Candy for Cats! http://www.pawbreakers.com |

A cat's name is something you have to decide yourself of course, because you know if it fits your furball's personality. But for a list of suggestions you can't go wrong with Flippy's Cat Page, that wonderful website run by an Aussie lady who's forgotten more about cats than we'll ever know! Her website is enormous, and she has a list of over 4000 cat names sent in by her fans, including our furry gang. Here it is. http://www.flippyscatpage.com/catnames.html |

LOL, My children (the bald ones not the furry ones) are called Tom and Harry, several people asked if we were planning to have a 3rd and call it Dick. My cats a Murphy - after Murphy's Irish stout as he's all black and DH was drinking Murphy's when we were choosing a name. Tabitha - A tabby cat that we got on halloween and is partly named for Tabitha from bewitched and partly for her "Tabby-fur" And McGonagall - after the teacher who transforms into a cat in Harry Potter. I picked Brio's name by visiting www.thesaurus.com and entering words that
described her character like lively, animated, etc. I'm really happy with the name I chose... it suits her to a T. Somebody said to me once "it's short, but it's long... breeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeo." 8-) "Sylvia M." wrote in message ...
