Default Petmate Purrforma litter box

I too got tired of replacing my littermaid every year or so. I also got tired of having cat poo pop up and hit me in the face when I removed the plastic waste bin.

Back in October I bought a Purrforma. I LOVE the design, it's much cleaner, and the hood is much better than that of the litter maid.

The big problem is that it dosen't work. I contacted Petmate and they sent out a new one. After about 2 weeks, the motor on the new unit went out. It's February now and I'm waiting on another replacement for it.

I think if they get the bugs worked out of these boxes they will be a great alternative to a LitterMaid. Unfortunatly, I've yet to own one that works properly. You can find some interesting comparisons at this link.
