nod, nod My Mum bakes this delicious sticky chocolate cake. My SIL has
tried, and I have tried, and my sisters have tried, but none of us can
make it quite as delicious as my Mum, though we use the exact same
recipe. And it's a very simple one, too.

Have you ever really watched your mom make the cake? I'm guessing that for
one reason or another she doesn't follow the recipe exactly.

I don't know if anyone still does it, but it used to be fairly common for
some folks to not give an accurate recipe when asked to share.

But I'm guessing that you mom alters the cake mixture or baking as a habit
and doesn't even think about it.

It's very possible. She is known in the family for being creative in the
kitchen.
