{{{{{{{{{{CATherine}}}}}}}}}} I know how hard it is to lose your best
friend. The best way to cope with the grief is to try to remember the cute
of funny things she did and the love she received while she was with you.

Hugs,

CatNipped

Hugs from me too. I agree with CatNipped, try to remember just the
love, the good times, and the laughter. Then the grieving should just
happen, not tie you up in it.

Regards and Special Hugs,

I wouldn't worry about it Cheryl. I've gotten used to having few
replies, or none, to my stories. Occasionally, I'll get an email saying
how much a story meant to someone and that makes it all worthwhile.

Just so you know: You both have great postings. Sometimes there just
isn't enough time to answer, even though we take time to read. Keep them
up MLB

I second that. I enjoy all the posts and the stories, but there just isn't
enough time for me to reply to 100 a day ;-)
Esp with (temporarily) one eye..it seems to make a different to my reaqding
and ty-ping - see what I mean?

Try this. Shut one eye and try and pour some water into a glass.

Yes, the bird has been renamed. "He" surprised us this morning, after
20 months of acquaintance, with an egg [she's an only bird].

What a surprise! After more than a year, it seems a bit late to
change her name.

This is true. However, as a motivational tool, praise for a wanted

behavior
is the best way to have that behavior continue. ; I like reading

the
stories, I want to continue to have stories to read, ergo I need to

show my
appreciation for the stories I do read. But, you're right, I write

stories
for sort of the same reason I fart - it just has to come out!! LOL

One other comment. I tend to be overly sensitive (read egotistical -

the
whole world revolves around ME! ;), and when someone doesn't respond

to my
post - especially when someone quits responding to all my posts - I

start to
worry that I have offended them in some way. I would *die* if I gave
offense to anyone here, you guys are just so great, so kind, so

caring - it
would be like kicking a kitten to hurt one of you in any way. So,

even a
"LOL" or "Me too" post helps let me know that you're OK with what

I've
written here.

Hugs,

CatNipped

I like to receive feedback on my stories, too. Sometimes i get very
few and sometimes a lot. Sometimes the responses reply to a peripheral
part of the story and ignore the main part. You just never know what
is going to strike the reader. As for replying, I don't do much.
Partly from lack of time or I am brain dead after a hard day's work or
someone else has said exactly what I would say or say something better
than I could. But I do read and appreciate the stories. Sometimes I
really need the boost of a cute cat story. I will try to do more
replying, even if it is just a LOL!

Since Amber died, my house is too quiet and I miss the rascal that
inspired so many stories. Maybe when I am through grieving, I will
find more humor in my household of cats. Maybe my broken heart would

I'm sure it would. In the meantime, here's a purr from me and my
furbabies.
