OK, Im really tired and want to go to bed but this weather is freaking
me out. It really seems like this is a tornado watch to, well, watch
out in. Ugh. Hope other folks are not in the bad areas. Poor Kansas.

Oh, dear! That is terrible! Stay safe.

I saw on TV that one whole town was completely flattened. :-(

It does seem especially scary lately. The F5 tornado that we had was
May 3.
That anniversary, plus the awful storms in Kansas, really make you
respect
the watches even more.
A couple of days ago the weather conditions were "just right" for us
to have a
lot of "F0" tornadoes. They *look* exactly like a real tornado, but
top winds
are only 40 mph so they are harmless. The local meteorologists kept
telling people it was nothing to worry about, but they were still
scary.

Well, more rain tonight but at least it isn't severe. However, places
are starting to have real flooding troubles. It won't affect me, but
the lake across the streets is REALLY coming out of the banks. It's a
man made lake and I think mostly it's just messing up the park and
can't cause travel trouble, but I took a walk around today and I can't
believe the amount of water!
