I do hope the vet can find what is wrong with Lola and treat her
accordingly.
Best wishes and purrs for Lola and calming hugs for you,

... I am indeed. Tonight my little Lola bear has had diarrhea. Intense
diarrhea. Don't mean to yuck anyone out here, but when she goes to the

litter
box it's really loud & runny. The inside of her little ears feel like

they're
burning up. Rang my vet in tears and asked him if it could be indicative

of
anything serious. His reply was "you need to bring her in first thing in

the
morning."

She's been on Science Diet Light to keep her weight down, but after

turning her
nose up at it just days ago I switched her back to Science Diet Regular

(Lamb &
Rice flavour). Could this have something to do with her being sick? I

didn't
think it was that drastic of a change, but obviously I was wrong. My vet

also
suggested I give her a 1/4 teaspoon of Pepto Bismol, which I did.

Being a newbie cat owner I'm wondering if anyone else has kitties that

have
gone through this. She's never had a problem with her bowels since I've

had
her. I'm really worried.

Tracy

Thanks for all the purrs, guys. Miss Lola & I are on our way to the vet this
morning. I'll post an update.

Miss Tracy
