Sootie has been with us now over a year. It's been an interesting year.

She's gone into winter mode now, coming in early at night (Although I
suppose that she'll be out late now tonight) and being more interested in
playing ball than being out.

Last weekend she came to sit on my lap as I watched tv, (which she's only
been doing when I'm in bed.) and we both fell asleep.

Yesterday afternoon I lay on a sofa, (DH on the other) for a nap, (it had
been a hard week and we were going out with friends for the evening) and
Sootie came up and lay beside me. This is what Sophie used to do but
Sootie had never done it before.

So she's becoming a cuddle puss.

Last evening, while our friends were here, she came in and played with her
ping pong ball, knocking it around the sitting room. Much to the amusement
of our friends. They lost their cat last year.

I got up early this morning made a cup of coffee and Sootie and I went out
onto the patio. It was lovely even though it was the first frost and
everything was white except my apple tree which had got the sun shining
off the red apples still on it.

I wonder how she'll change in the next year.

Judith

Sootie sound like a real sweetie

Do you have any pics of her? I don't remember seeing one...but I may
have forgotten. I often do.

My bet is that she will become even sweeter, over the next year
