My parents have noticed that Oscar is calmer

Both mom and dad have commented that they can see huge improvement's
in Oscar's personality. She's still shy, but not nearly as skittish
as she was a year or two ago. Mom was even twirling the cat dancer
for her =) I see Oscar every day; sometimes it takes an outsider to
really notice a change.
