Default what's in the basement? Update

Every morning Emily meows for me to open the basement door. She then goes
down the stairs, tours the entire basement and comes up to report that the
basement is free of greeblings.

This morning Emily started downstairs as usual, but quickly reversed

herself
and stayed away from the door for the rest of the day.

Must have been one huge greebling...

This morning Emily asked me to open the basement door. She took a few
stairs, cautiously, and only proceeded to the bottom after Pea joined her.
Pea stayed on the stairs while Emily did her patrol, and then the two of
them came back up at their normal pace.

Guess the basement's safe again!

Brenda, relieved

Weird? Maybe the baby greeblings are tastier than the food you give
her. And she came back up after remembering that there were no more
left, for now.
