My Dad as I've mentioned before was a house-husband before the name was even
invented, we always had a cat and a dogand every time you saw my dad, *whatever* he was doing ;eg cleaning, washing, yes even cooking, He always had a cat draped round his shoulders just as you describe Victor, and like yours I never saw one fall off, and they would sleep as he moved around Jean.P. Victor Martinez wrote in message ... Rufous has decided to emulate Basho and Issa, who love to ride on our shoulders. Basho and Issa have been doing it since they were kittens, and they're quite good at it. It helps to be wearing two layers, but they usually don't use their claws much. They wrap themselves around your neck and just hang there. Unfortunately for us, Rufous hasn't mastered the jumping part yet, he's more of a climber. With big paws and correspondingly big claws. Note to self: must remember to wear heavy coat inside the house at all times. Inquire on Ebay about kevlar body-suits. -- Victor M. Pam S. giggling hard As I recall, my thought process was, Kevlar doesnt' seem very sexy (thinking of, say, a bullet-proof vest, or certain parts of my ski gloves), but mylar rhymes and seems slightly more appropriate for fun and games ... but then there are a lot of people with latex fetishes, and I think the spray-on bodysuits you can see on some, um, sites are actually latex ... Okay, I'll shut up now. -- monique, roommate of Oscar the (female) grouch ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eros was adopted! Eros has a home now! *cheer!* |
