I haven't confronted them yet. The drop kerb situation was so stressful with
them blocking me in my house for months (my blood pressure must have gone up
by miles every time I realised I could not get my car out) that now *that*
is resolved, although I wanted to get the problem of the wall out of the way
fairly quickly, I've decided to let it rest for a while. Lull them into a
false sense of security.
I have 7 years or more to do it, and can still win. I won't wait that long
of course, but realised I needed a break from feuding with my bad new
neighbours.
It will be done, but not quite yet.

Good move sometimes you just need to let go for a while..when I had
that problem with the bullying manager at work who took 4 months to
get a hearing over her allegations where her only witness broke down
and accused her of lying and I still got a final written warning for
1 year after which it should be struck off my record I was told I
should appeal plenty of grounds etc and I said "I need a break from
this!" then decided (okay it's not the same for you) I'd just spent
too much emotional energy (it got so bad I decided one Friday near the
first hearing I worked out I needed to sort my will out over the
weekend so if I then went ahead and killed myself Dave would be okat
money wise) I wasn't going to waste emotional energy on an appeal
since however much I was in the right I wouldn't win since they'd have
to admit a manager was a bully for me to do so,

Gonna be fun when I get back to work-the manager was sent on a
secondment due to her post being axed last August/resigned or
somethink- the final written warning expired last Thursday and I now
want it in writing that it's off my record

Sounds like a smart move. Your health is more important. You can get
back to it when you're less stressed about it. And yeah, let them think
you're going to let it go and then, wham!

I know your pain. I shipped out to live on my savings. Best thing I ever
did. Yes, it is hard, but I have never regretted it.
Once July 2013 is here I will be fine.

It will be done, I have 2 hospital appointments next week that are
important. Mammogram and shoulder. I almost live in hospital and
physiotherapy. Don't forget my broken ankle that I am in the gym for every
Monday for an hour.

Did I miss a post, or have you not yet gotten results from the MRI, etc,

More and more people I know about my age are shipping out to a
degree- one couple have taken their pensions (Both long service NHS so
they get a decent one each), sold their house and moved to Turkey.
Another friend has taken her civil service pension at 50 and retired.
A friend is considering that she'll be able to claim her NHS pension
later this year so she might do that and go part time as it is she's
cut her hours (But that's more because of her mother's health
problems meaning she feels she needs to help out more otherwise her
sister does it all). I'll be able to start claiming (at a reduced
amount obviously) my private pension later this year so I think at
least I'll have the option although it's not in my plans right now but
I can see myself in a few more years going part time and using my
pension and savings to make up any shortfalls

I think that you're very sensible leaving another battle until you feel up
to it and have your tactics sorted.
