Default Waffles update

Her Majesty finally deigned to pee in the special cat litter that makes it easy
to collect a sample from. I zoomed said sample straight down to TED.

Waffles has no signs of crystals or infection in her urine

BUT

She has an elevated glucose level :-(

Waffles is showing no outward signs of diabetes, she's not got a thirst problem
and she's not eating strangely and she's not unduly lethargic.

BUT she has been bullied by a certain striped Psycho Cat From Hell.

TED thinks her problem may be stress-related in that case - so the Feliway
diffusers are on full-blast and I'm watching Madam like a hawk.

I've got to take her back in a week, along with another sample of her pee.

Continued purrs that this turns out to be a temporary glitch and not anything
serious will be most gratefully accepted.

Cheers, helen s

The purrs from the furkids in Allons, TN will continue to be sent to
Waffles. She was such a good girl to finally pee in the special
litter so TED could figure out what's wrong with her. Tiger told me
that Frank probably teleported over and had a heart to heart talk with
her.

Nan and the furkids

Thank you one and all. Frank & I have been "communing" but out of sight of the
humans...

Purrs, Waffles

Lots and lots of purrs and best wishes for Waffles' next sample to be ok and
gentle calming hugs for her worried meowmie,

Frank is preparing to come over and beat up a certain stripey cat as we
speak. Nikki is meatloafing and sending her loudest purrs, and I'm sending
my best wishes that it is stress-related and not the first signs of
diabetes.

Thank you Auntie Mrina, Frank and Nikki.

The striped one requires beating the sh*t out of as he is a bully. The fat one
here makes sure she puts my food out of sight from him, so I can eat in peace,
and she chucks him out of the room at night, so I can have a decent night's
rest without the striped terror being a PITA. The Feliway seems to calm him
down a bit - mind you, turning him into a rug would also calm him down.

Purrs, Waffles

Purrs for Waffles continuing -- we do know about stress levels here -- hope
things calm down for everyone!
