Default PING : Weebles Meowmie

I was looking at the recent pictures of Weebles when I realised I hadn't
read an update for a week!!! But then I noticed a reply to your post but
couldn't find the original post....

I'd love to hear more Weebles updates, if there are any...

Weeble is doing fine. He goes for his follow-up vet visit this coming
Thursday, Where he'll get a dose of Revolution. He has had both halves of
his other worming medicine, with myself giving the 2nd half to him myself,
while he was napping, I put him on my chest, stuck the syringe in his mouth,
and before he could realize that what he was getting was NOT something good
to eat, I had squirted the medicine down his throat - his expression was
priceless. Unfortunately, I think he is still exacting his revenge up on
me, as he tries to play VERY rough now, every time I try to pick him up. my
hands are covered with tiny little Weeble-marks. The only time he DOES'NT
try to fight with me when I pick him up is when he's sleeping.

He does get a workout from Lizzie, when she's in the mood. He'll be playing
with one of the numerous 'cat toys' that are scattered throughout the house,
and Lizzie will stalk him, but when she pounces, she stops just short of him
and gives him a gentle swat, as if to say "tag - you're it". Then she takes
off running, with a little black fuzzball named Weeble in hot pursuit. He
must catch up with her at some point, because the next time I see them, the
Weeblemister is being chased by Lizzie. They chase each other like that for
a while, until Weebs gets distracted by another toy (or perhaps the same
one) and then it starts all over with the stalking.

Weeble does have 2 favorite toys: a rainbow striped terry-cloth mouse with
pink (I know, how degrading for a tough little tom like Weebs to have to
play with a toy that has PINK on it) pom-pom ears and a ribbon tail that
ends in a jingle-bell - we can hear him playing with that thing all hours of
the day AND night. We call it his jingle-mouse. The other toy is one of
those feather-on-a-string toys, except that the string is a strip of striped
soft fuzzy cloth (it looks a LOT like Lizzie's tail), and the feathers are
attached with Velcro (you can buy different toys that attach as well, but
these feathers seem to be just fine among out herd). He rolls around on the
floor wresting with it, getting it wrapped all around him, then he panics
and really goes ballistic on it (I get the feeling that he thinks it a snake
wrapping around him), teeth and claws going every which way ( I learned that
the hard way - ouch), until it is no longer wrapped around him, and he grabs
a part of it in his mouth and proudly carries his 'kill' off to another
room, where it is no longer fun as it is 'dead' so he leaves it for later.

Tennessee & Smokey are still afraid of him, won't let him get too close to
them before the hissing & growling starts, and they flee the vicinity -
which is kind of funny to watch, as Smokey is about 10 lbs and Tennessee is
about 15, where as The Weeblenator weighs in at barely 2 lbs!

I'd like to recommend getting Revolution from petscriptions.com, it's way
cheaper than getting it at TED. You do need a prescription, so they'll fax
your vet asking for one. If you order more than $75 (I think), shipping is free,
plus you don't pay sales tax (unless you live in their state).
Particularly for those of us with large prides, it's really important to save
money on meds.

Nice to hear that Weebles is doing so well and interacting with Lizzie. Hope
the others follow suit soon, but those miniature cats can be a bit
frightening. "How did he get that small? Will I get that small if he comes
near me? Will I ever get back to my present size?" So many questions.
