RIP - little man - RB

So sorry this happened. Expected or not it is so sad to lose such a tiny life. It
brought back a long ago memory and a few tears for what might have been. (We bred
toy poodles at one time and loses are far to common.) And I did light a new small
but sweet candle this evening for those that barely were, little man and his sister
and for Willie's babies who lived for a day but died on my birthday over 20 years
ago.

With big litters like my two girls have I suppose you have to expect a lose
or two - but it is something I never get used too.
Had a very solemn funeral service in my back yard.
He has gone to join his sister from the previous litter.

Sorry to read this, Lois. You're right, one never does get used to
losing a baby.

Jo, your post brought tears to my eyes - yes, it is sad and I did not expect
this little fella to die - he wasn't the smallest - on a brighter note the
remaining seven seem to be doing well - and Phoebe's ten will be two weeks
old tomorrow and the littlest one there, I have been feeding - this morning
we hit a mile stone she topped the ton - yes she has made 100g ( some of the
bigger ones are in the middle 200g)
