Sad day
I just had to take Emily to the vet for the last time, she didn't quite
make her 19th birthday, but a good innings none the less. She was very calm and relaxed at the vet which was totally unlike her, no fight left. So I know it was the right thing to do, still hurts like hell though. -- Nik Simpson |

This is one of the most difficult decisions any of us have to make, but you gave Emily a good life and gave her a final act of love when the time came. MaryL |

But she lived a good long life. I've only had cats since 2003, so I haven't yet had one reach such an advanced age as Emily. |

You made the most painful, but most loving, decision a pet owner can make. I'm sorry for your loss. Joy |

I'd light a candle for Emily but I don't know how to start a new one. Many purrs continue for your loss, nik. Jill |
