I just had to take Emily to the vet for the last time, she didn't quite
make her 19th birthday, but a good innings none the less. She was very
calm and relaxed at the vet which was totally unlike her, no fight left.
So I know it was the right thing to do, still hurts like hell though.

I'm so sorry. This is one of the most difficult decisions any of us have to
make, but you gave Emily a good life and gave her a final act of love when
the time came.

I am so very sorry to hear this. Purrs for your broken heart and for
her journey.

Purrs for your broken heart. We do all we can for our furbabbies and
this is the final act of love, not to let them suffer.

Poor girl, and poor you. But she lived a good long life. I've only had cats
since 2003, so I haven't yet had one reach such an advanced age as Emily.

Of course it does. You made the most painful, but most loving, decision a
pet owner can make. I'm sorry for your loss.

I'd light a candle for Emily but I don't know how to start a new one.
Many purrs continue for your loss, nik.
