Default Cat Furniture in the UK

Can anyone suggest a good place to purchase cat furniture in the UK
(i.e. cat scratch post; climbing tree; bed etc).? To be honest most
of the online ones we've seen look pretty horrid.

I was hoping that someone may know of a manufacturer who does the cat
shows etc

Can anyone help?

Thanks

where do you live? your average 'pets at home' store will do basic
scratch posts etc but if you go to any cat show near you you will find
lots of stalls selling specialist well made (and british made usually)
cat furniture, climbing frames etc, mostly wooden or made from other
natural stuff.
there are shows most weekends somewhere inthe country but you can look
at the GCCF website to check their diary on www.gccfcats.org

other idea is to get a copy of Your Cat magazine which has adverts and
a classifieds section in it for just this type of stuff, also they do
monthly giveaways and sometimes include stuff like climbing posts etc
in these. it also has lots of really good articles in it and lots of
great photos of cute kitties and baeautiful pusscats.

i did pick up a leaflet from a climbing frame stall at show in Reading
a while ago, I think have lost it but i think they were based in kent
somewhere. Their stuff was quiet sturdy. If you are near london then i
would advise going to the National Cat Show at Olympia in november, as
they have loads of good stalls selling some amazing stuff, only
problem is getting home on the tube.

actually i have just looked through some old copies of Your Cat and
found an ad for a company who do extra sturdy climbing posts and
similar stuff, have a look at
http://www.kitforcats.com/
looks like they do lots of their own designs and also whatever you
want them to build.

just wish i had the money myself...

Hi,
Here are a few that I found after a quick search on google. if none
of these catch your eye, you might want to put an advert in the Ad
Trader free of charge and commission someone to make something to your
specifications. Alternatively, you might find people who will take on
commissions by looking in your cat magazine, or cat world.

These are ones that I found that patronised the GCCF shows.

I hope that you can find something that you like the look of.
Good Luck,
