Default Tigger teeth cleaning purrs please

I dropped Tigger off at the vet this morning for a teeth cleaning. I know
it's a fairly routine procedure but as I told the vet, she is getting up in
years and is very, very special to us. Some purrs for the routine procedure
to be completely routine would be appreciated.

Purrs for the teeth cleaning to go smoothly and for Tigger to take
only the gentlest revenge for the indignity.

Telling the vet that she was getting on in years was somewhat unlikely
to gain you goodwill.

She is probably going to take revenge for this morning when she wasn't able
to have any food. She was quite upset with me, kept sitting where her food
bowl should go and meowing.

Tigger is doing fine but I'm sure glad I picked her up instead of her Daddy.
She was still quite woozy and confused when I got her home. True to her
personality she did NOT want to lie down and sleep it off either. She kept
trying to jump up in her spot on the table but couldn't. She did not want me
to put her up there either. When I put her up there she tried to jump down
and of course stumbled. I couldn't get her to lie down in her bed but
finally after following her around the house keeping her safe for an hour I
convinced her to get in one of her play boxes and relax. This was after I
had to run to the bathroom for a minute and came back and found her lying
quite contentedly in her litter box. Tank was uncharacteristically quite the
gentleman though. He didn't try to pounce on her once. She seemed better
this morning but still not quite her usual feisty self.

Isn't it interesting when they do that? When Smudge had a sore foot,
Licky tended to leave her alone more than he does now (the brat).

I thought that weakness made an animal *more* of a target. But maybe
that's just in situations of predation.

Purrs for Tigger to come out of the daze soon!

I sure hope she is feeling better by now. Poor Tank.

She seems to be feeling much better this morning and even played with the
feather a little bit. she didn't do her bounce around with her tail fluffed
up but she doesn't always do it. Most times she bats at it a few times and
then gives me a look of - "let the kid kill it, I'm resting here". I eat
breakfast sitting at the bar in the kitchen where we have two tall stools.
She jumped up on the other chair and had breakfast with me like she usually
does.

Yay! I'm glad she did fine. I know how worrisome it is. I always have
to tell myself how much riskier
peridontal disease is, than the actual procedure of having the teeth
cleaned.
