The Latest Wake-Up Call

Persia likes to tap my nose to wake me up. If I mutter, "It's not time yet"
she'll give me a few minutes, then tap it again. If I'm still muttering,
"It's not time yet" and roll away from her she'll usually leap-frog over me,
wait a minute, then try it again from the other side This morning I
guess she didn't feel like leap-frogging. I was on my side, facing away
from her. She laid her soft fuzzy chin on my shoulder (awwww!) and rested
there, purring *very* loudly in my ear. Then she gave my cheek a quick lick
I mumbled something, just to test her. She lifted her head
inquisitively, then rested it on my shoulder again. Another kitty-kiss. So
endearing! I turned over to look at her. I didn't think it was possible
but the purrs revved up even more. Then she gently bit me on my chin.
Okay, okay, I guess it's time now! I gave her some scritches. She jumped
down and ran to her bowl, plaintively crying, "meow-ma! meow-ma!". Yes,
Persia, I know you're going to waste away to nothing if you don't get food
this very instant! LOL
