they're driving me nuts!
I wrote abt this before but, Moe & Rudy brothers - indoor cats &
fixed..there 3 yrs old and totally out of control..we got tham at the age of 8 months from the SPCA they have never been in a home before having been deserted on the road side as kittens and grew up in the SPCA of coarse they were litter trained but I had house train them too, stay out of garbage, kitceh counters are off limits, as is the stove, bathtub, and one counter in the living room..they learned quickly, had to be reminded a few times a year and 5 months ago my husband died huge change there for them and they were so loving with me...then my daughter & granddaughter moved in for what was supposed to be a one month stay turned into 4 months, Moe loved my granddaughter who was 2 1/2 and Rudy hated her...Mackenzie had trouble telling them apart they do look alike now it's 5 months later its been just me again Moe every night goes to my double door that lead to a balconey (they aren't allwoed out there as they would jump down) goes nuts and straches at the glass for 15 - 20 minutes! they won't stay out of the cupboards..I don't want them in w/my cooking stuuf, pot & pans..they're long hair and shed like crazy then go to the sliding doors in the bathtub and starch like crazy on those that makes a loud rattling noise they wack at all the closet doors...yes I let then get in one...I know cats need their hiddie holes and Moe goes around meowing all the time! they openly jump on the kicthen counters with me around so far I have; tried a squirt gun, coffee can w/stones and a sharp no, just plan yelling now they have taken to stealing my winter stuff hats & mittins ...may sound funny but I can't afford to replace them they have many toys, I rotate them...a tall tiered climbing thing they love espically since I moved it in the spare bedroom in front of the window, I only have 4 windows in my place all put one have easy access for them and one that can't use is in my bedroom I got them a lower cimbing thingie has swing on it, holes they can pop in out of they get lots of love, lots of play..thier appetiete is good, they look healthy, no prob in the kitty litter area I know many here are agnst outdoors for cats but I thing these guys need it, can't though its ground for eviction they're big and when on their hind legs (they do that a lot too) they reach 33 inches and weigh in at 16 lbs a piece..vet says they're healthy I think they need more space I live in a tiny 2 bdrm place, can't afford to move then again what do they know abt space this is their only home Rudy has started something new hissing at ppl and I was one of them! the kid next door wanted to meet them Thomas knows cats they have 2..he talked to Rudy first let him sniff him out, Rudy showed no signs of getting angry Thomas was petting under his chin a fav spot then he hissed and tried to take a swipe at him...then 10 minutes later he came right to Thomas and was his buddy! Rudy hissed at me once when I picked him cuz he was on my papers, I was sweet tlaking him too...two other times he's taken a swipe at me! whats with that? and Moe going around meowing all the time! they run non-stop chasing each other and will do it for hours & knocking things down, drives me nuts feliway didn't help neither did rescue remedy...my daughters friend says she'll take them both...Rose as large fenced in yard too I don't know what to do anymore I love them dearly but I need help..vets says they're just normal active cats, that some cats are more active than others...what abt the acting out? he says normal too....they're so loud at night I where ear plugs...they're allowed in my bedroom when I sleep when I go to bed a radio and a light is left on, same when I leave the apartment....my late husband (hate that word late, why can't just use died) thought 2 cats would be better since he was in and out of the hosp. so much they'd have company when were gone...I'd only leave for a night after that friends or family would take care of them put that was awhile ago ensoul I want Carl Sagan to explain the sky to me. ~Whoopi Goldberg |

I feel you are still grieving for your husband. The cats sound normal for young cats but I think you would like to be alone now. Perhaps you could keep just Rudy and give Moe to Rose. Or give them both to Rose and adopt an older cat from the SPCA. |

YOU are a ****ing MORON. You let the cats sleep with you and then you got the nerve to complain about it! LOL....!!!! Where the hell do people like you come from? Who breeds you people with the one-way brains to be so frigging STUPID...?! LOL...!!!!! Can't say 'NO', ehh momma....? What if your cat started to eat you...? Would you just allow it to go on? Look.... Why don't you just sleep in the friggin' car and let the damned animals have free reign of your entire house...? No ****ing wonder your old man checked out. Having to live with this couldn't be easy. He probably couldn't sleep either, but what could he say about it...? When it comes to women, kooks usually ruled the roost. Do yourself (and us all) a big, big favor.... Seek physiatrist help. A person who doesn't even have ground-floor instinct to save themselves needs all the help they can get. We certainly can't help someone like you here. That's a given.... IBen Getiner |
