Bad news - Four

I have just spoken to Charleen and together we have made the decision
to let Four go to Rainbow Bridge. She's going to ask the vet to make
Four comfortable tonight to give her DH, David, time to get home so
that she has some support when they both go to say goodbye and she'll
give permission let Four go to the Bridge in the morning.

I'm gutted, but Charleen is devestated.

Please hug your kitties, send purrs and say a prayer.

Purrs from this household. And tell Four to look up Winnie and
Feather. Winnie just went and Feather is showing him around. Snowball
will be with them. Tell him she is a very cat-friendly d*g.

I just finished writing a post in another thread about Four, and saw this.
Charleen tried so hard.
This could have been either of mine, they were both strays. I am so lucky
that neither of them had the dreaded virus.

I am gutted too. Please excuse me while I go away and shed a few tears for
Four. I felt I knew him.

We'll be purring. Every time an rpca cat goes to the RB, it feels like I
lost a member of the family. With Four it's a bit worse, since the group
pulled together to help Charlene finacially, Four felt a bit like one of
my own kids.
This sucks. Big time.

I'm thankful Four got to know what love is and that he had a good home
and lots of food.

Of course it's always easier to GIVE UP then give Four a chance and TRY.
They do not know that he can kick this and make it through it. Too bad
Four wasn't rescued by someone with more backbone than his current wussy
owners -or that a rescue organization or other person was around to take
him and treat him properly giving him a chance . Soon he'll be in a
better place away from his current "owners". That is all I have to say
on this subject. Now you fellow RPCA wusses and cheerleaders can chime in.
