It sounds like you gave him a wonderful life and a wonderful last little while
on earth. I too had to help my cat go to sleep peacefully right before last
Christmas. It's tough but it's the loving thing to do. I hope if I'm ever in
the same situation, someone can help me leave this earth with as much love.

It was so much like the spirit of Spot because that
candle beat the wind and burned all the way down to the very end.

I'm very sorry. Spot sounds like a wonderful cat. It always ends too soon for
us...the human companions.
