Default Another Neighbor Lost?

As you know, we live in a nice trailer park for people 55+ and up the
street, by the office is a fire engine, an Aid car, lights flashing...I hope
we haven't lost another neighbor. They seem to be going quickly lately
Bless her heart. I don't remember her name, but she's a very sweet older
lady, who is looked after. It might be her time to 'go home'.
There are a lot of vacancies here lately.
There are 71 units, and about 10 vacancies,
and the manager has lightened up a lot.
I managed to take my 4 wheeled walker and walk the mail a block down to the
Office, and back, along with the land 'rent' check, on the 3rd, and my
knees have been feeling like crap ever since, with such intense pain. Sorry,
didn't mean to grouse, I know there people here a lot worse off that me, and
you're in my thoughts, purrs, prayers, good wishes, for whatever you need.
Even to those who don't like me.

Many people have to call 911 in a medical emergency.

Most go to the hospital.

Many, but not all, do come home again.

When my mother was having heart problems, she went to the emergency room
many times.

She had cardiac ablation, and a pacemaker implanted, finally.

Let's hope it is something like that: cureable.

I'm sorry your knees are so bad; isn't there some way to get your check
to the office, without having to walk it there?

Couldn't you ask the manager to pick it up, due to your handicap?

Sending purrs for your neighbor, and for you.

When I had medical insurance, I called 911 many times about my knees, and
came home okay. That's good news about your mother,

I'm sorry your knees are so bad; isn't there some way to get your check

Dutch usually takes it there, but I was going stir crazy, the sun was
shining and I 'needed' some fresh air and HAD to get outside.

Sending purrs for your neighbor, and for you.

Thank you so much. Purrs really help.
Purrs for Kenzie, and for you.

It's awful that you don't have insurance. It seems like you could
really use a wheelchair or a scooter to get around. Another knee
replacement wouldn't hurt either!

*I know, it really sucks :/ They took away 'my' insurance because when I
turned 62, I got an SSI Retirement stipend from DH's disability $ that put
us $19 over the poverty limit. ( I'll be 64 next month.) I don't qualify
for disability, because I 'haven't worken enough' I was told :/

I do have a really nice 4 wheeled walker, with a seat and also
a wheelchair to get around with. I don't use the wheelchair much because
it's too heavy and bulky. I do use the walker in the house though. I just
stay home mostly.

Another knee
replacement wouldn't hurt either!

When/if I get insurance, I'll get them both replaced...again. I had them
both replaced at the same time in Dec 2001. I also might have clots in my
legs because my toes are numb, but with no insurance, there's nothing I/they
will do, and believe you me, I've called everybody I can think of. My Dr
wants me to have about $400 worth of bloodwork done as well, and we can't
afford that, our fridge died, we had to have the roof fixed so it wouldn't
leak, ..our rent was raised ...etc, etc
If something was wrong with me , I'm up a creek without a paddle. Oh well.
Please say a few prayers and purrs for me...I'll be okay. There are people
worse off than I am, also with no insurance. I finally watched Michael
Moore's documentary 'Sicko' that has my ex and his wife in it and I couldn't
stand to watch more than 15 minutes of it, they made me ill...she's such a
drama queen and told some outright lies.
Thanks for caring..like I said, I'll be okay..
I try and keep a good attitude and count my blessings.
Love
Kyla
