I love this video. There's just something about Maru that reminds me so
much of Caliban. That same earnestness in everything he does. And so
funny. How he struggles to get into the lovely box, and how he comes
flying out of it once he's gotten inside. The video is very well edited
too. Those last peeks out of the box - purrfect timing.

Yes - a very sweet ending. He has such a cute face.

I got a kick out of how graceless he looked, dropping himself like
a stone into the box, and then hurling himself out of it. What's that
thing about cats always being graceful?

If he was graceful too, he'd be a menace. I don't think he'd even
stay in that house for very long. He'd eventually figure out how to
climb out a chimney or something.


Good point. If he were as agile as he is intelligent, he'd be running
the world by now.
