Default A Bonnie Story (glimpse into her purrsonality)

Bonnie, the feral, is socializing just fine. Though she still doesn't
let me touch her unless it is worked up to. She has even gotten to
where she lets me walk past her without bolting. Sometimes she'll
follow me downstairs when I go watch tv, read Usenet on my laptop.
She'll sit close to me but sort of hiding. Grab my toes out of the
blue. She has liked being brushed for a while now so I do that
often.... lately I alternate between brushing her and petting her with
my hand. When she feels the brush, she closes her eyes and seems to
LOVE it. When I switch to my hand and rub her ears and head she
doesn't notice the difference at first, then I see her eyes open and
she looks up and sees my hand instead of the brush and bats at my hand
and gets this attitude. When I switch back to the brush she calms
down and closes her eyes again, and when I switch again to my hand,
again comes the attitude and she bats my hand away. She is such a
silly cat!

This is wonderful progress. Congratulations on a great job of socializing.

You have lots of patience. I'm sure Bonnie will come round soon.
Best wishes,

Awwww! It sounds like she's coming around - I love the *close but
hiding* image. I can just see that! We will keep sending purrs in
hopes that she keeps doing well, though purrs from my Mike are
unlikely to help with the attitude situation. ;-)
