My mom would like to thank everyone for their well-wishes (even you,
Exrxes) and when I spoke to her during my lunch break she expects to
be discharged for home later today. She misses, in this order, my
dad, me, and the cats. However, she'll probably try to skin me alive
for leaving "her dining room" a mess.

I guess everything will be back to normal pretty soon.

Glad to hear that she is coming home. That is usually a good sign. If she
tries to skin you alive, you'll know she's doing alright, right? (;-))

Kyla here, SO glad to hear your Mom is doing better.
A dining room is usually a mess, so I wouldn't worry about that G
My whole house is usually a mess....a clutter it is.

Default Purrs/Prayers Requested For My Mom

My mother, who's been battling leukemia for almost a year, was
hospitalized yesterday (Saturday) with pain in her chest. The doctors
ruled out all the serious stuff -- nothing with her heart, no
bloodclots, doesn't have pneumonia, and Bast knows what else. Knowing
herself as well as she does, she suspects it could be a sinus
infection that spread to her throat or lungs. Because of the
leukemia, she also got transfusions of packed red cells to boost her
strength, and platelets.

I'm not worried about her like I was last year, when we first found
out about the leukemia, but I am concerned. May I please have some
purrs, prayers, good thoughts, or whatever it is that this diverse
community does?

Thank you,
Debby

I'm sorry I am late reading this. Purrs for your mother to get well
quickly.
