Default We celebrated Spot last night

He went to sleep at appx 18:45 gmt, 7th.

[extract from http://www.freesite.myby.co.uk/spot/lastdaywithspot.htm
(currently under construction/editing)]

We came home, took a brandy to toast him, lit a candle under his favourite
bush in the garden and silently watched the fireworks rising to the skies,
exploding into dazzling displays of stars and streaks of light and naturally
fading into the all-encompassing night sky. It all seemed fitting

Even as the wind tried it's best to blow out the candle. Several times it
went dark under his bush, sometimes just leaving the red ember of the wick
glowing only to have the flame spring back up brilliantly shining and
dancing once again. It was so much like the spirit of Spot because that
candle beat the wind and burned all the way down to the very end.

My praise and thanks go out to the Internet and all the good people therein.

In mourning,
AL.
