Default Kumani and Tyche's Tale

This story comes in two versions. The first is the TRUTH and the
second is the version that makes sense to humans. It is in brackets
like this (TRUTH/part that makes sense to humans)

Two years ago, our Momdad (gave birth to us/found us) behind the
university. He started freaking because (he gave birth at work/somehow
we'd been abandoned in a trash pile at only three weeks of age) and
took us home. He fed us (his milk/from a bottle) and (licked us/used a
cotton ball) till we peed and then he bathed us (with his tongue/in the
sink) and put us to bed in a box.

Then he called Mommy and tried to explain to her that (he'd been
pregnant without knowing it/someone had to take care of us and the
shelter was full). Luckily she was happy to have cats #3 and #4.
Mommy took leave from the military and came home to see us and take us
to (that pervert TED/an animal care professional). Mommy went back to
the base and MomDad raised us while he worked on his masters' thesis.
He taught us skills like typing and how to follow him around and how to
pet people you love on the forehead with your paw--stuff that (all cats
do/we do because we imprinted on him).

Three weeks later we (went for a drive in Quebec/moved halfway across
the country). After that, we were family for keeps. We love our
SISTER and Uncle Smokey and Nocturne our God and Mom and especially
MOMDAD because he is (our biological mother/according to them, their
biological mother).

Here are our new photos!

*GORGEOUS* kitties, Fil. Tyche looks a little like Jessie (is she small
like JetSki, or is she a normal sized cat?).

As usual, I *loved* the story. One day I'll be proud to say I knew the
famous author Fil, way back when!

Hugs,

Kumani is a nine pound cat, at a good weight.

Tyche is a tad fat at ten pounds. Nine would probably be ideal for her
size.

Smokey and Nox are both ideal weight at 12 pounds.

Jessie is at her ideal weight at 7.60 pounds, Demi is at her ideal weight at
7.30, Bandit is at her ideal weight at 9.40 and Sammy is 3/4 pound
overweight (according to the vet, though she disagrees) at 14.90.

After that discussion about North American Cats vs European cats size
wise, I don't really know what's a "small" cat any more....

I always thought Bandit was "normal sized" at 9 - 10 pounds, until we got
Demi.

I've come to believe that, just like humans, there *isn't* any "normal"
size, it all depends on what's healthy for the individual.
