Cat's Ear Odor !!
Hi Folks,
Our 6 yr old Black Shorthaired cat has developed a FOUL odor eminating from his ears...like rotten shrimp. We've recently treated for mites... He shows no signs of distress. Any thoughts? Thanks! K.M.Smith Spring Lake, NJ

Possible abcess down in the ear canal due to infection/inflammation from
mites. Can be potentially fatal if left untreated.
