Default Property damage question

You want to KILL the CATS for peeing on your wheel and scratching your car
cover?!? Why not
kill the birds that take a dump on it or cut down the trees that drop sap
and leaves on it too?

I live in a townhome in Houston. The design of our property is much like
an apartment complex, with a parking lot instead of garages.
I own two vehicles. One is parked most of the time and kept under an
all-weather cover. The other is my daily driver.
The problem I'm writing about is some stray cats that live on our
property, and the ongoing damage they're causing to my cars.
My car cover has scratches and tears all around it, with a few at the
corners going all the way to the bumpers.
As for my other car, it has chromed wheels that show damage as a result
of urine "marking".

I've talked with the manager of our property about this problem, but she
said there was nothing she could do about it.
Therefore my first question is...if I formally inform the management
company about the problem, and they take no action, can I hold them
liable for further damage?

If no one else will take steps to resolve this problem, I'll have to
take care of it myself. So my next question is....under the
circumstances, what am I obligated to do to eliminate my cat problem?
Are there any circumstances that allow me to kill them?

I appreciate any advice, as this situation must be resolved quickly.
Thank you.

Randy

We're living in a world that's been pulled over our eyes to blind us
from the truth. Where are you, white rabbit?
