MLB, I've seen you use that beautiful quote before. Do you know where it's
from?

The vet said that he had stones in his kidneys and stones in his bladder.
He's never seen a cat with stones in his kidneys. One was so full of stones
that it was shriveled. They operated on him for over 2 hours and were not
able to have his bladder function properly.

We do indeed. We are all so *very* sorry. We'll be purring for you and
Furby - it can be as hard on the furry ones left behind as it is on the
humans. Fortunately the furry ones usually get over it a little quicker
than we do.

Be comforted that Dusty will have excellent company at the Rainbow
Bridge. Given the number of tragic announcements on this newsgroup
recently, far too much excellent company.

So much sorrow at the loss of a dear friend. Most of us have been
through it, some of us many times. You pain is shared and we at the
Williams' house hope that this will help. I'm sure all of us on
r.p.c.c feel the same way. We know what you're going through and
we're with you in spirit and our purrrayers are with Dusty.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your precious Dusty. My kitties are
purring, and I'm praying that Dusty's journey to the Bridge was a safe one,
and for the holes in your and Furby's hearts to heal.

I think it is beautiful, too. It is a quote from a poem by Diane
Robertson. You can read the full version on the web by accessing
"poetry" then "Diane Robertson. I originally found it in a newspaper many
years ago. MLB

Oh, yes, we understand. Purrrrrrrrrrs and virtual hugs for the aching
hearts of your household.

Mietze has allowed me to reply to your message but insists that I tell
you that Dusty's name has been added to the list for the Calling of
Names at the Jellicle Ball, and his brick is included on the Walk of
Remembrance.

Thank you so much for adding his name to the Walk of Remembrance. And,
thank you all for your thoughts and hugs and purrs. We really appreciate
it. It certainly doesn't take away the pain, but it shows that some people
certainly understand what we are going through.
Thanks again.
