Marina: You'll have the power of purr behind you and Frank. We'll be
thinking of you both!

Frank is scheduled for his dental surgery on the 27th. I have to take
him in to the vet school hospital before 8 in the morning and I get to
pick him up after 4 in the afternoon. I know I'll be a nervous wreck all
day. Actually, I'm a nervous wreck already. Frank will be 17 next month,
and it's always a risk to put such an old cat under anaesthesia. He's
also had some high BUN levels, which makes it even more of a risk. But
he has to have that tooth out or it will get infected again. I'll be on
needles and pins until I have him back home, safe and sound and in good
health next week.

Thank you, Susan and everybody else for your good wishes and purrs, as
well as good advice and calming stories of your experiences. Sorry to
have to write a lump thank you message for everyone, but once again, I'm
overwhelmed by the mass of posts in support of my little soul mate. Four
more nights to go!

Marina,

Poor Franki. It might reassure you to know that my old man Yoda had a dental
recently with one extraction. He did fine. He acted normal when I got him home,
ate just fine. The only thing was he peed on my bathrobe soon as he got home,
but I don't think that was a medical issue.

Very late in seeing this, but "good surgery" purrs on the way for Frank.
