Marina: You'll have the power of purr behind you and Frank. We'll be
thinking of you both! Susan M Otis and Chester "Marina" wrote in message ... Frank is scheduled for his dental surgery on the 27th. I have to take him in to the vet school hospital before 8 in the morning and I get to pick him up after 4 in the afternoon. I know I'll be a nervous wreck all day. Actually, I'm a nervous wreck already. Frank will be 17 next month, and it's always a risk to put such an old cat under anaesthesia. He's also had some high BUN levels, which makes it even more of a risk. But he has to have that tooth out or it will get infected again. I'll be on needles and pins until I have him back home, safe and sound and in good health next week. -- Marina, Frank and Nikki marina (dot) kurten (at) pp (dot) inet (dot) fi Pics at http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/frankiennikki/ and http://community.webshots.com/user/frankiennikki |

Thank you, Susan and everybody else for your good wishes and purrs, as
well as good advice and calming stories of your experiences. Sorry to have to write a lump thank you message for everyone, but once again, I'm overwhelmed by the mass of posts in support of my little soul mate. Four more nights to go! -- Marina, Poor Franki. It might reassure you to know that my old man Yoda had a dental recently with one extraction. He did fine. He acted normal when I got him home, ate just fine. The only thing was he peed on my bathrobe soon as he got home, but I don't think that was a medical issue. Sherry |
