Default HISSSS on this weather!

Auntie Donna here, disappointed that we have to wait two extra days to
bring the new kitties home.

They were ready to come home today. They passed their blood tests, got
their vaccinations, got fixed-while-not-broken, and everything was set for
me to pick them up after work today. The shelter is open on Wednesday and
Friday evenings.

Then this darn SNOW had to arrive and turn the roads into slush and ice.
The shelter called me back to say that they were closing early due to the
bad road conditions.

The shelter is closed on Thursdays, so I can't pick up the boys until
Friday.

Send me some purrs for patience, since I have to wait two more days to be
a Meowmie again, instead of having my kitties with me RIGHT NOW like I
thought I would. Sigh

Fred objects to top posting, but we're bein stubborn wif him and
he's got to do it, since others here do it and it gets all mixed up
ifn we go back and forth.
Anyway, We have had a little snow here, but mostly it's been Cold!
We had -15 degrees F. a couple of days ago. Diana went tu da TEDs
today tuu, but it was just a quick trip fur shots and ear medicine.
Maybe you could call your TEDs again and see ifn you could pick up
yor babies today. SOMEBODY has tu go in tu feed them dusn't they?
There wood be a time when sombody wuz there and maybe you could get
them, ifn the rodes aren't tuu bad.
On da uther paw, at least they r safe and warm where they r.

--Diana and Ryan and their hooman, Fred

Sad PS: We haven't seen Jetadiah since the weekend nor enny tracks
from his lair uther than skunk tracks. We're furry sad, but we
thinks he's makin his way to the bridge. When he wuz out last time
we thinks it wuz tu say goodbye and ask that we remembfur him We
still keep goin tu da door and checkin fur signs, but there is
none. This weekend coming, Fred will clear the snow away and dig
away the frozen ground to retrieve da box and see ifn Jetdiah is in
it. Ifn he's there Fred will wrap his body and keep him in a safe
cold place fur burial in da spring next tu Patches and Ajax and
Spirit and not far from Dutchy. This is hallowed ground and we
have many roots here.
We'll put da box back fur da skunk till spring, cuz he dusn't have
enny where else to go an it's soo kold outside. These are pretty
luxurious kworters fur a skunk. We hopes he appreciates how lucky
hez been.
