Wrong color. Licky could be mistaken for a black leopard, though.

My work colleague had a very big Bengal cat she kept inside but he was so
destructive that she eventually decided to let him out. The neighbours
called the police when they saw him as they thought he was an escaped
leopard and they came out with guns.
Luckily he didn't get shot, the police realised he wasn't a leopard ;-)
Our police are not routinely armed but we do have a firearms squad that can
be called in if a big cat is suspected out and about. Embarrassment all
round.

I don't understand how someone could think a bengal was a leopard. OK, it
has some of the same coloring and markings. But... they're not even close
to the same size. Can't people tell that a bengal-sized cat is NOT a leopard??

Purhaps a leopard cub/kitten? But kitens have different proportions.
