Default A slight Ooops

I have been doing some house cleaning today. Got out the big sucky
monster, which of course Buffy hates. She ran and hid.

I picked up her little cushy pyramid bed and took out out front. To
shake off the dust (her fur) and clean out the inside. More fur. She
sheds terribly, despite frequent and much loved Furminating.

I took out enough fur fluff to make some birds and squirrels very happy
for natural nest building materials. I set her bed down for a moment
just to walk to the mailbox. I felt a rain drop. Then another. Then
uh oh...

Buffy's little bed got a bit wet. It wasn't soaked or anything. It was
a very sporadic few drops. But I suspect she's going to have to have a
good sniff before she gets in it again. Something's changed.

I also vaccumed the living room so I had to rearrange her toys. She's
not happy about that, either.

How did Buffy get on with the change to her bed?

Judith

She sniffed at it a bit suspiciously. Then got in and shed all over it
again.

She claimed it back then.

Judith

She did. No difference to her.

Funny how cats seem to universally hate the vacuum, although we a Tom who liked to get vacuumed when I was a kid. Similarly most cats don't seem to care about thunder, at least none of ours. Our older cat Cali used to like to sit in the open window during A thunder storm, she would get soaking wet. I think she liked the ozone smell after a big rain.
