Default Wellness problem,

I just returned two cases of Wellness turkey. Amber wouldn't eat the
food from the cases marked April. I had a case marked June and she ate
that OK. I am getting fed up with the inconsistency of the Wellness
product. For what they charge it should be dependable.

Again?? This happened before. I agree with you - their quality control
is not good. Sometimes two cans of the same flavor will have completely
different consistency - one is dryish and solid, while the other is soft
and squishy. I never know what I'm going to get. Don't know what their
problem is!

Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a good
many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia.

It's not just Wellness. I have had quality issues with Fancy Feast &
Pro Plan (both
Purina products)
The Fancy Feast Tender Beef smelled odd. Not spoiled, but very strong,
almost like
wild meat. I called the 1-800 number on the can, and they replaced it
with a coupon
for a another case.
Now Saturday, I buy their regular Pro Plan Select dry food. The
packaging is new. I assumed
it was the same formula, just with an updated package design, as pet
food companies often do.
Biskit has developed diarrhea, and the other three have bad smelly
stools, which is NOT
normal for them. It has to be a change in the food.

Default Wellness problem,

To make it worse, I called Wellness yesterday. I told them what their
"bad" batch had cost me (worry that Amber was sick, gasoline to replace
the cans and I even suggested a vet visit). They didn't seem to care
and said they would send me a coupon. Big deal - $10. I spend over
$1100 a year on their product. I have some cans of Innova, Chicken
Soup, even Friskies. I am going to try them and if Amber likes them,
Wellness will be history.

It's really upsetting when the company doesn't respond well to a problem.
Good luck with trying amber with other foods.

Especially a company we had previously trusted and respected.
