Default Met another cat whisperer

I got to talk to another cat whisperer today. His name is Jacob, and he
feeds the strays that live in the sewers by the post office.

I carefully walked up on them so as not to frighten the two cats he was
feeding, but they appear not to be too shy when he is there, I got
head-butted by the orange and white one, while the grey one sat and
guarded his plate of crunchies.

Jacob told me that one of the bartenders at the bar across from the post
office, and some of the employees at a nearby savings and loan also put
out food for the cats. He says he sometimes gets harassed by post office
management, but that doesn't stop him.

The cats recognize the sound of his pickup, and climb out onto the
sidewalk when he pulls up. I thanked him for feeding the cats, and told
him that any cat lover is a friend of mine.

Hugs and purrs,
Mark

Does he get them neutered? Feeding the cats but not getting them
neutered is not a good policy.
