[OT] The Ratbag Poet goes live
My father's poems finally hit the WWW:
http://members.optusnet.com.au/~drwatson/RatbagPoet/ They're are in the mostly in the tradition of Banjo Patterson's and Henry Lawson's Australian Bush Poetry "tall tales" set to verse but the range varies from farcical to haunting. I hope you enjoy them if you visit. Yowie (I did the html by hand so if you happen to pick up any errors, please let me know) -- If you're paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many pancakes can you fit in a doghouse? None, icecream doesn't have bones. |

Yowie, I just got a chance to read some of your Dad's poems. I love them!
Several of them made me LOL. This collection is too much of a treasure to read all at once, so I've saved a lot of them for another day. Thanks so much for posting the link! -- Joy Life's a trip! ....But it doesn't come with a map. -- Ziggy "Yowie" wrote in message ...
