My father's poems finally hit the WWW:

http://members.optusnet.com.au/~drwatson/RatbagPoet/

They're are in the mostly in the tradition of Banjo Patterson's and Henry
Lawson's Australian Bush Poetry "tall tales" set to verse but the range
varies from farcical to haunting.

I hope you enjoy them if you visit.

(I did the html by hand so if you happen to pick up any errors, please let
me know)

Ahh, "Ratbag." I haven't heard that word in ages. My Aussie ex used to
refer to my students as "the little ratbags."

Yowie, I did enjoy the piece about your father and also his poetry, now I
know where you got your wordsmith abilities and sense of humour from

Yowie, I just got a chance to read some of your Dad's poems. I love them!
Several of them made me LOL. This collection is too much of a treasure to
read all at once, so I've saved a lot of them for another day.

Thanks so much for posting the link!

Yowie,
I've read a number of your father's poems and really enjoy them. Your
father is very gifted, I"m sure you are proud of him.
