I'm going to do research on vestibular disease in cats here shortly.
I hope that it is possible for it to improve.

Today is my Social Security phone interview. Wish me luck!

Lots of luck for your interview (maybe I'm too late) and purrs for Cosmo.

Thank you, Marina.

The interview was very short. As long as DH lives here, I'm not
eligible. So I guess I'm screwed one way or another.

But on the good side, Cosmo seems to slowly be improving! He is still
tilting, but not as much, and when he shakes after scratching his ears,
he no longer falls over. He is trying to get up the stairs, but we
figured out a better way to use the table to block them, by laying it
down against the stairs rather than trying to prop it up all the way;
this way, all the other cats can leap over it, except for Cosmo. And if
he does try, he'll simply slide a couple of steps' worth back down the
table.

Thank you everyone for all your purrs for my Handsome Fella!

Ginger-lyn

Thank you all so much for your purrs and support. It really means a lot.

Cosmo is still tilting his head and not walking well. I think the
antibiotics should have worked by now if it is an infection, and the
heavy-duty ear-cleaning should have worked if it was just wax. So I am
afraid it probably *is* vestibular disease (I have no idea why my brain
farted and I said Meniere's; or are they the same thing? At any rate, I
meant "vestibular disorder"). However, his appetite has improved, so I
guess something is better.

Today is my Social Security phone interview. Wish me luck!

Lots and lots of purrs and best wishes for Cosmo and for your interview,
Ginger-lyn,
Polonca and Soncek
