Five pounds is a teeny cat. Even Bootygirl weighs about 7. Funny thing
is even Bosley (24 POUNDS NOW!!) is afraid of her.

And don't forget KFC, wasn't she 4 lbs near the end? I think she
could easily have intimidated a dog, not with size or strength, but
with attitude.

Hello,

Since the average kitty weighs about 5 pounds, you will need to own 8
kitties to equal a 40 pound dog.

It would be four, not eight... and why is that a bad thing?

Huh? Don't they teach the multiplication tables in school anymore? (4
x 5 = 20, not 40!)

How many of us have 5 lb cats? My lightest weighs 6+ lbs. Most are in
their teens and three of them would make a 40 lb d-thing. For what it
is worth, the 6+ lb owner, Tanada, has the d-cat terrified of her. She
has trained him to leave her alone.

Pam S. who figures that three cats could easily take out a 40+ lb d-g.

Granted, but the OP was assuming average weight of five pounds, which
would mean eight cats (not four) to equal forty pounds. (And ONE
determined cat could make mincemeat of an aggressive dog, if it could
once get front paws around its neck and bring its hind feet into play.)

I think the point Pam was making was that 5 lbs. is *not* average for a cat,
so the assumption was faulty.

5 pounds? That cat is hovering on the edge of a Karen Carpenter-style
stroke. That is animal abuse, to keep your pet that slender.

Truly

According to Jesus, in John 8:32, truth will set you free.

Yes, and who could be freer than a dead person? That's all your walk
with Jesus will ever bring you. A closer association with the grim
reaper. Because 99.9999999 percent of the time, Christ will not
intervene in your situation. He will only teach you how to LIVE WITH
IT. And eventually how to die in it. And you know that's true.
