Default Purrfect Arch

Purrfect Arch ...isn't, (Perfect, that is) for a sampling of just one.
Foiled again.
Pit2nya's cousin-kitty, Candy, is about to receive yet another gift.

Pit2nya was uninterested in a sleeping tent a couple of years ago.
Then she wouldn't go near the "tunnel" that Candy now enjoys running
through..
This time, I splurged on the Perfect Arch, figuring that it just
might solve the problem of a medium-long-hair cat hating to be brushed.

Since Pit2nya will play with the cheapest store-bought toy in the world,
the Cat Dancer, I've been dragging it through the Arch. No luck.
Twice I did get her through Arch to get at Cat Dancer (a wire with
rolled-up cardboard cylinders attached). She carefully slinked through,
being careful not to touch either side the brush making up the Arch
with any of her fur.

Speaking of brushing, Candy (a short-hair) also enjoys being brushed
with the hand-me-down expensive brush tool advertised some time ago.

sigh Surely I don't have the wrong cat?

Sylvia

Of course you don't have the wrong cat!

I can't really give you any advice about brushing. Persia always
*loved* being brushed. I must be odd but it never occurred to me she
might not like it. Along with the litter box and food and water bowls I
bought a cat brush. Here kitty! Come on, want to get brushed? Yep!
It's scritches plus!

When she got older I did buy a Furminator grooming tool. She started
shedding a lot more as she aged. She took it right in stride.

I wish you the best of luck and hope Pit2nya's "cousin" likes the Cat
Arch. Or you could just ignore it for a while and see if she figures it
out.

Jill
