What Is That? i say, somewhat unintelligently, as POO trots past with
a frog in his mouth.

anyway, it looks an interesting game, so i follow POO. he puts the
frog down, gives me THE LOOK, and turns back to the frog, who is jumping
away down the room! naturally POO looks cross and shoots after the
frog, who has got to safety behind the central heating boiler. Ho, Ho,
i think and go to see what is happening in the lounge.

nothing much, though HE is there, fiddling with the TV remote, and
walking round.

Meeeeeeeooooooouuuuuuuwwwwwww !!!!!!!!!!!! HE stood on my tail!
excuse me while i wash a paw. lick, lick right, i shall not forget
this! muttering to myself, i follow HIM into the kitchen.

that looks interesting: cold meat! i shall look very appealing (and
hope POO keeps away). damn! HE has not given me any. i think HE must
be learning.

"Just keep away from that while I go into the lounge and check the
TV," HE says. OK, i say, looking bored. out HE goes. chomp, chomp
whoops, HE is coming back! i look bored again. "You damned cat," he
says. That Will Teach You Not To Stand On My Tail, i yowl, but he does
not understand plain cat. oh well, the meat was nice. time for a nap.
