I'm so sorry to hear that, Jeanne. Poor Hobo. How old is he?

Thank you, Britta. Hobo is not *old* but is a bit elderly -
he'll be 14 in a couple of months. We're hoping we can manage these
diseases with the least stress on him. He's such a stoic he looks and
acts the same, sick or well. We'll keep him closely monitored.
Thanks again for your good wishes.

"Help Hobo" purrs en route

Received!! We're using them as "for Pete's sake, *eat* this
stuff, Hobo" purrs. Thanks.

Lots of purrs for Hobo to take to the kidney food and start feeling
better pronto. Too bad about the teeth. Purrs for his worried family, too.

We appreciate the purrs, Marina. Hobo has always been a good
eater and it's sad to see him go to his food bowl, take a sniff or a
bite or two, then walk away. Hoping in due time he'll take a liking
to it. *Soon*!!!.... The teeth part is a minor concern we'll deal
with later. Thanks, again.

So sorry he wasn't able to get his teeth fixed up. We'll send
purrs for good response to insulin and fluids, along with some
special good-appetite purrs.

Thank you, and Will and Heidi. The teeth-fixing is the least of
our worries at this point, but the purrs for his health are gratefully
received.

Oh, my!! That's a bunch of purrs and the kind of storm we like to
see blowing in!! I'm sure they'll help a lot. Thank you all.

Poor Hobo. Purrs are on the way that Hobo will soon learn to like his
new food and that he will have many more years left to rule your

Thank you *so* much. "Ruling the household" is the perfect
description of Hobo's place in our lives. We'll do our best to keep
him here as many years as possible!

Lots and lots of purrs.

Thank you much. Purrs times seven equal a formidable barrier
against disaster and Hobo will be much better for it.
