My Alarm Cat

I was waked up this morning by Rita jumping onto my bed and meowing in
my face. Yummy,just what I want in the morning, a face full of kitty
breath. lol
Then I noticed that the alarm clock was dark! I turned on the light,
so that wasn't it. The alarm clock had been unplugged sometime in
the night (one of *those* dreams, I guess!).

Rita woke me up just 15 minutes before my alarm clock was due to
go off. Is she a good owner or what??

Chaos doesn't care what time I get up, but she has a very firm opinion that
if it's past 2100 and I'm still in the office, playi^H^H working on the
puter, I should /quit/ that and go get in bed. If I'm stubborn enough to
stay there to 2200, I get bombarded with rusty-hinge squawks *ordering* me
out.
Thank heavens for portable laptops...
