Sitting Outside

The weather was just plain delightful, which is odd for July in South
Carolina. It was breezy and quite nice given the time of year. I had a
glass of lemonade (although I wished it was a glass of white wine). Persia
was outside in her Kitty Walk with me. She's a sweet little old girl

We had the mother of
all thunderstorms barrel through here at rush hour this evening, and
her relatives are
predicted for the rest of the week here; flash flooding was all over
the area. My friends
in FL telll me heavy raining going on there too, but it is so common
there they have
lots of exccellent drainage mechanisms in place so street flooding is
rare.
