Got this from my Scottish NG: Sam The Skull
Ah'm a cat, ah'm a cat, ah'm a Glesca cat,
an ma name is Sam The Skull.
Ah've got claws on ma paws like a crocodile's jaws
an a heid like a fermer's bull.
Ah'm no the kind of cat that sat on the mat
Or even by the fireside rug,
Ah'm the kind of cat that malkies rats
an eats the occasional dug.
You can hear them say doon Shettleston way,
"Here comes Sam The Skull."
He's got claws on his paws like a crocodile's jaws
an a heid like a fermer's bull.
He's no the kind of cat that sat on the mat
Or even by the fireside rug.
He's the kind of cat that malkies rats
and eats the occasional dug.
The polis station doon oor way,
has bars oan the windae sill.
It's no tae keep the prisoners in,
it's to keep oot Sam The Skull.
Ah'm a cat, ah'm a cat, ah'm a Glesca cat,
an ma name is Sam The Skull.
Ah've got claws on ma paws like a crocodile's jaws
an a heid like a fermer's bull.
Ah'm no the kind of cat that sat on the mat
Or even by the fireside rug.
Ah'm the kind of cat that malkies rats
an eats the occasional dug.
You can hear them say doon Shettleston way,
"By the way, whatever became of Sam the Skull?
He had claws on his paws like crocodile's jaws
an a heid like a fermer's bull."
Well you can tell them fae me
that ah'm still roamin free
an never a day is dull.
Ah know it micht soond a bit absurd
But ah'm living wi' a burd
in a singel end in Maryhill!

Sam the Skull sounds like one tough ScotCat (from Glasgow?). He must have
had one of my distant, ship-building relatives for his slave, long ago.

We have a good time in there - almost everybody is pleasant and it is
easy to identify the ones (like Murchadh) who are in killfiles
everywhere.
Right now, we're establishing our very own Scottish village, fighting
over what the pub will be named and so forth.
There's also a scs gathering organized for next June in Stirling.
C'mon over - the only entry requirement is that you be connected with
Scotland somehow, even if it's just an interest.
