to say about Cats stalking large game: Mmmm! All this talk about deer and elk is making me hungry! Yum!!! I love venison and elk. I ate elk a couple of times when we were in Colorado. My MIL couldn't understand how I managed to eat elk after watching them running around at the park. LOL! I love venison. A friend once asked me, "How can you eat Bambi!!?" I replied, "In a nice stew with salt and pepper!" Sounds good to me. I see a deer or elk, I don't think "oh how pretty", I think about recipes. :-) -- "The universe is quite robust in design and appears to be doing just fine on its own, incompetent support staff notwithstanding. :-)" - the Dennis formerly known as (evil), MCFL |

We spent the day yesterday planting winter peas in the pasture behind the house for the deer. They come up in the winter, as many as eleven in a herd, and they are just so beautiful it takes my breath away. OK, I know they destroy crops. I know they're a traffic hazard. But deer season starts pretty soon here, and just wait till I catch a tresspasser hunter. I turn into the bitch from hell with no apologies. Sherry |
