Default Cat peed on new kitten?

Hi, I have looked all over the internet for advice, but I can't find
anything about this specific issue - only about cats peeing on the
floor or furniture. I have a 2 yr old neutered male cat who is
wonderful and has never had any behavioral probs. About a month ago I
got a female spayed 4 month-old kitty. For a few days I kept the
kitty locked her own room with her own stuff. I introudced the 2
gradually. At first my older cat hissed a lot, but after a week they
seeemed to be friends. They sleep next to each other at times,
wrestle and lick each other a lot. Sometimes the playing seems to me
to be too rough for the kitty so I break it up, but the kitty goes
running back for more. The other day I noticed something odd - after
wrestling, my older cat sat on the kitty's neck for a minute. I
thought this was odd, but didn't think anything else of it until today
when my kitty jumped on my lap and the back of her neck was wet with
urine! Now I am a little nervous about leaving the 2 alone together
again. Any advice, similar experiences....??

Does he still treat her well, despite that? Maybe he views her as his
"territory"?

He is quite possibly marking her as his. As long as he doesn't harm her,
this will more likely than not go away as her scent really mingles with
his. She may still smell "new" to him. If he has his own blanket he
sleeps on, rub the blanket on her a couple times a day to get the scent
on her.
Do get him checked for a urinary tract infection, though, as he could be
leaking by accident.

Oh no about the scent - I gave her a bath (which she hated) to get the
pee off her fur - now she doesn't even smell like herself! It is so
strange, they seem to get along very well most of the time. The other
thing I thought of that might have been the problem is that the kitty
sometimes tries to climb in the litter box while the older cat is in
there - maybe there was a mishap there. Anyway will try rubbing the
older cats scent on the kitty and watch for signs of a UTI. Thanks!
