Calling All Southern Califurnia Kittiez!
Calling all Southern Cafifurnia Kittiez! Please check in! The
Catmerica Police Department heard about the wildfires and are furry worried about yourownselves. Also, if Black Jack Purrshing could teleport some of the New Orleans floodwaters over to the wildfires to help put them out, we would a-purr-ciate it furry much. Fangu, Capt. Midnight DOC The Good Luck Black Cat Commanding Kitty, Catmerica Police Department Chief Grocery Inspector, Cole Slaw Keeper, and Towel Fixer Us Highland Kitties are ok so far. The Chatsworth fire is about 80 miles away from us. However, the Mill Creek fire is burning about 5 miles from us, and the Thurman Flats fire is about 10 miles from us. They are both burning away from Highland, but if the Santa Ana winds return (they were blowing pretty strong on Tuesday, which is why the Chatsworth fire grew so quickly) they could turn those two fires to blow towards us. Our hoomins are keeping a close eye on the fire. Our Paw is working 60 miles from home, but is keeping in touch with our Uncle Pat who lives just a couple miles away. They have enough kitty transporters available and accessable to pack up all of us and move us to safety if the fires should turn. And they have lots of kitty food, human food, and water ready too.
