If you can spare a few purrs, prayers, or tail wags today for a dog that
loves cats, we would all appreciate it. Our Lab, Boone, fell ill over
the weekend and got worse yesterday.

Many purrs from Hobo & Speckles, doggy-wags from Sandy, and good
wishes from me for Boone and his worried family. We sincerely hope he
will recover quickly and will keep him in our thoughts. Hugs.

the weekend and got worse yesterday. We thought at first it was a flare
up of his irritable bowel syndrome and put him on the meds we have on
hand for that. He got much worse over night. He basically has water
instead of stool, has stopped eating, and looks miserable. Steve took
him to the vet's this morning for blood work, x-rays, etc. The vet said
that there was a slightly dark area towards the front part of his
abdomen (in the x-rays) that the vet didn't know what it was. He also
said that Boone seemed like he had right leg pain when he extended that
leg and had lost muscle mass on his left side. The blood work will not
be back until tomorrow. We're giving him a higher dose of antibiotics
but actually had to pill him this morning. Never in 9 years, no matter
how sick he has been, has he refused to eat a little peanut butter and
his pills. We will know better how to proceed when the blood work comes
back.

Needless to say I am worried.

Mega purrs are on the way from the furkids, and the d*g furkid is
sending slurpy kisses and tail wags from one lab to another that Boone
soon gets to feeling better.

Hugs for a worried Meowmie (?) (What do you call a d*g person?)
